Advice or Tips For High School Student Planning on Accounting Career?

Hello, my name is Marcelo Rodriguez and I am currently a Junior in High School. Since late 8th grade, I knew I wanted to go into the world of business and now know I plan to major in accounting. My question, or rather request, is if there is any tips or advice you can provide to High School students planning on entering the world of accounting like myself. I am taking Accounting in school and am the leader of my school's UIL Accounting Team and am taking all the business and computer courses my school offers. I am planning on applying for an internship at a local CPA office in my hometown this summer. I have narrowed my colleges where I plan to attend down to 2. Is there anything in specific I can do now while still in High School to prepare for college, but more importantly, a career in accounting?
