Accounting Masters/ IT Acctg double major

Just starting my Junior year as an accounting student, I also started an Audit internship and am realizing the importance of IT knowledge. I've spoken to some recruiters, professors, and coworkers about either doing a masters in accouting to reach the 150 credits or double majoring in accounting and IT and have received mixed answers and advice.

Which of the two options to reach 150 credits is better for me in both the short run of public accounting and the long run of going into private accounting?

Thanks
