Busy Season Problems: Auditing During a Tornado

You may have heard that yesterday, "as many as a dozen" tornadoes sorta had their way with the Dallas-Fort Worth, destroying homes and damaging property. Thankfully there have been no deaths reported.

Usually when inclement weather threatens a city, there is some kind of advance notice. For all their short-comings, weather (wo)men typically get these severe cases correct, thus giving everyone plenty of time to prepare appropriately. HOWEVER! What the National Weather Service cannot do is force anyone to take action to protect themselves. We always hear about those old coots in Florida who flat-out REFUSE to leave their homes despite the fact that a Category 5 could put the courtesy golf cart through their front window. Similarly, you cannot force auditors to abandon their posts during busy season when there is work to be done!

We were pinged by Ash A with the following:

For all the brave souls who kept on auditing (or reading Going Concern) during the storm, we salute you.
