PwC UK and Palantir Technologies Inc. put out a press release this week announcing “the expansion of their strategic alliance, underpinned by a multi-year, multi-million-pound investment by PwC.”

OK…doing what exactly?

The expansion represents a clear commitment by both organisations to work together as preferred UK partners, aligning strategy and resources to deliver advanced AI and data solutions for some of the world’s most complex challenges. Recognised as one of Palantir’s most significant professional services relationships, the alliance is built on trust, innovation and delivery at pace.

PwC UK and Palantir previously announced a collaboration to “accelerate operational transformation” in 2023.

When Deloitte announced their own hookup with Palantir over the summer, that announcement was equally stuffed with jargon and buzzwords: “Deloitte shares Palantir’s commitment to decisive action and a dedication to delivering meaningful, lasting results for commercial and government clients. Expanding our preferred relationship at this pivotal moment provides our clients with Palantir’s latest advances in AI, combined with Deloitte’s engineering scale and deep sector experience,” said Jason Girzadas, Deloitte US CEO.

Who said it better, Girzadas or PwC UK top dog Marco Amitrano? He said this in their press release: “This major investment reflects our confidence in scaling AI-led transformation to help organisations create lasting impact. Palantir has become a trusted and valued technology partner for PwC, with a shared focus on delivering meaningful outcomes for clients. Expanding our relationship reflects the success we’ve achieved together so far and the impact we can make across public and private sectors.

“Technology is fast becoming the architecture of stability – the infrastructure that allows organisations to navigate volatility, strengthen resilience and accelerate growth with confidence. By working with leading technology partners and deepening PwC’s own AI capability, we can continue to expand the art of the possible for clients and create new opportunities in data science, engineering and implementation.”

Yikes that was a lot.

On the other side of the partnership, Louis Mosley, Executive Vice President, UK and Europe at Palantir, said: “This next chapter of our strategic partnership combines Palantir’s powerful, proven AI technology with PwC’s expertise in strategy, delivery, and digital transformation. While changes to the way that the technology and consultancy sectors work together are creating more choice for Palantir, the decision to double down with PwC as our preferred delivery partner in the UK has been a simple one: It reflects shared values, deep collaboration and a track record of delivering transformational and sustained impact, at speed, across both the public and private sector.”

  1. Dark Enlightenment douchebags trying to rebrand as “for the people” and “patriots” should be concerning. Their views are anti-american, pro-techbro-feudalism

  2. if I were clients of Deloitte and PwC I would be concerned with all your company operating data being provided to Palantir for use with their AI tool in an audit or tax or consulting engagement. This is a new frontier where data is being furnished to a government contractor for who knows what purpose.

    1. Its not any different than PWC USA and databricks now being offered in GOV cloud with Unity Catalog. The term Technofuedalism is appropriate.
