Job Title: Remote Tax Preparer

Compensation: $80,000- $100,000 DOE
*Must have CPA firm experience
Responsibilities:
- Prepare individual and business tax returns. Ratio is about 60/40 individual to business. Limited multi-state.
- Assist with off season projects such as tax projections, reasonable compensation studies, tax notice resolution.
- Conduct tax research as needed
- Handle client communications through portal messaging, phone calls, and video meetings
Qualifications
- 10+years of recent tax experience in a public accounting firm
- Prior experience and interest in working with offshore staff
- Ability to work independently as well as the ability to work well with clients and team members
- Past experience working in a fully remote workplace
- Comfortable working directly with clients, explaining complex tax issues in easy-to-understand terms
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Technically strong
- Enjoys working in a technology-friendly environment
