While we work on a story about Deloitte’s soon-to-be new home in New York City, another story floated across the Atlantic into our lap: With their original lease set to end in 2028, EY chose to renew and stay in their current London headquarters through at least 2040.
As you can see from this Google Maps screenshot, they’re right along the Thames and neighbors with a PwC office.

Since 2003, EY has occupied 1 More London Place where about 8,000 people are currently stationed. They decided to stick around “due to its unique proposition, with a prime location and excellent transport links,” according to a press release.
“Extending the lease on this iconic building marks our continued investment in London and confidence in the capital as a place to do business,” said Anna Anthony, EY UK & Ireland Regional Managing Partner. “We are retaining a fantastic building, in a prime location, which will continue to provide a great place to work for our people.” Missed opportunity to say you’re ALL IN on London, Anna. Gotta jam that catchphrase in every chance you get.

EY in the UK still thinking they play in the big leagues. They should consider moving to a strip center instead.
