Accounting Firm Managing Director Charged With Taking 1000s of Upskirt Pics of Teens Won’t Be Leaving Jail Any Time Soon

39-year-old Derek Anthony Grima (more like Grimy amirite), founder and managing director of BeFinancial Accounting & Business Solutions in Australia’s Victoria province, has just been denied bail in a case involving thousands of upskirt images he allegedly took of more than 100 young girls. BeFinancial’s website is currently giving a 404 error.

Making this already gross case even worse, informant Detective Senior Constable Jordan Gibson said in court testimony that some of the alleged victims ages 12 to 15 are friends and children of police officers.

ABC News Australia reports:

Senior Constable Gibson told the court a complaint was made by a witness in the Ballarat Officeworks on January 25 after Mr Grima was allegedly seen following young girls around the store for nearly four hours.

Upon Mr Grima’s arrest, police said they found an iPhone application which allows users to take covert images and video in “stealth mode”.

More than 5,000 photos and videos were allegedly found in his possession, material which was allegedly captured and downloaded.

Police allege the images were captured in dozens of locations including a prominent Ballarat girls’ school, cafes, public pools, retail outlets, in Melbourne Central, and at Mr Grima’s business.

Note: Busy season in Australia is in April to August with tax day falling on October 31. So that explains why this guy had the time to stalk little girls outside of his office (allegedly).

Senior Constable Gibson also told the court that he is still reviewing all the photos and what he’s seen so far left him “feeling quite nauseous.”

“There is an undeniable and unprecedented risk towards young females … he has no boundaries or limitations,” he added.

Usually when things like this happen people flood a business with negative reviews, for now it doesn’t look like that’s happened on Google. But this client is pissed about being overcharged in a review left two days ago:

Oh, Anne. If you only knew.

When rejecting the accused’s bail, Judge Julia Barling admonished Grima for stalking young girls, adding that the alleged victims were likely out shopping for back-to-school (Australian kids start school in January or February due to their seasons being opposite of ours).
