Saw this on r/Deloitte earlier and thought it would be good to share as a reminder that you guys might want to watch what you post on social media under your own name for the foreseeable future. That’s always been the case but especially now.

If anyone is feeling generous and would like to send us the text or a summary of the policy it would be appreciated. We assume it’s written in such a way that Deloitte can decide anything it doesn’t like goes against said policy, we’d expect nothing less from a 67 billion-dollar professional services firm with a full in-house suite of lawyers and HR people.
We also expect that this is happening everywhere and all major firms are actively engaged in reputation management surveillance so, you know, be chill if your posts can be tied back to you.
Shitpost on Reddit like everyone else if you must.

Deloitte obviously cares a lot more about blowing Trump than they care about any of their employees. This probably goes without saying even though I said it anyway.
This is why I go by Big4Veteran. Anyone who uses their real name online must be extremely careful to never say anything controversial or even remotely entertaining or interesting.
I think it has less to do with reputation management and more to do with finding another excuse to reduce US headcount.
Excellent point!
Every event that happens is analyzed for potential excuses to reduce US headcount.
