Report: Millennials Are More Stressed Out Than the Baby Boomers They Stress Out

Millennials are leading the nation in stress according to a survey by the American Psychological Association.

Fusion reports:

The group’s annual Stress in America report found that millennials, which they defined as individuals aged 18-35, reported an average stress level of 5.5, compared with 5.4 for Gen X, 4.5 for Baby Boomers and 3.5 for “matures.”

Not only are Millennials stressed out in general, 36% of them report their stress has increased in the last year, 34% felt lonely due to their stress and another 34% even skipped a meal because of it.
