Today, Harshman Phillips & Company announced that it is acquiring Cloudsourced Accounting, a firm that provides "cloud integration and online bookkeeping services" to small businesses.
Blake Oliver, one of the co-founders of Cloudsourced, is unique in the respect that he is not a CPA. You may remember a post from back in January where this particular issue became a point of a contention for some people.
Harshman Phillips is a CPA firm with offices in Atlanta and San Francisco that provides accounting, advisory, tax planning and compliance services. Harshman will add Cloudsourced's staff of 10 to their firm as well as Blake and his co-founder Maria Sentic (who is a CPA, incidentally).
Anyway, Blake was nice enough to agree to a brief chat, especially since its in the cloud, which he seems hip to.
