Today is Promotion Day at PwC, a day to celebrate all those PwCers who earned their new stripes and stepped up in rank, including the firm’s newest class of 128 partners and 104 principals.
This year’s class of 232 partners and principals isn’t as robust as the previous two years, but it’s the third largest at PwC since 2010:
Here’s a look at PwC’s class of 2020 by the numbers:
- 91: The number of new partners and principals in advisory, the most of any service line, followed by 80 in assurance, 59 in tax, and two in internal firm services.
- 72: The number of new partners and principals who are women, or 31% of the class of 2020.
- 58: The number of new partners and principals who work in the New York metro area, the most of any market, followed by 31 in the Southeast and 28 in the Central market.
- 51: The number of new partners and principals in New York City, the most of any location, followed by 22 in Chicago and 16 in Boston.
- 3: The number of new partners and principals with the last name of Singh, followed by Duffy, Hammond, Lee, Massey, and Pittman with two.
