Mazars’ FY 2020 Global Revenue Wasn’t As Bland As Its New Logo

Last October Mazars made a huge deal about its new brand identity, including a revamped logo that we thought was as bland as paste. Maybe the firm could have added a little orange to it, ya know, in honor of its most famous client in the U.S. Whatever. It is what it is.

But while the logo is uninspired, Mazars’ global revenue for the 2019-20 financial year wasn’t, especially with a good chunk of it falling in the year of our COVID Lord.

From Sept. 1, 2019, to Aug. 31, 2020, Mazars’ revenue worldwide was €1.9 billion, up from €1.8 billion the previous financial year.

Sixty-five percent of Mazars’ revenue came from its European region, which pulled in €1.24 billion in 2020. Mazars’ firms in North America generated €210 million, which is third behind the Asia Pacific region (€307 million).

In terms of revenue generated by service line, 47% is from audit, followed by 17% from accounting and outsourcing, 16.5% from tax, 11% from consulting, 6.5% from financial advisory, and 2% from legal.
