Compensation: $90,000-$130,000 depending on experience
Position Responsibilities:
As a Tax Manager, you will use your experience in accounting and taxation to provide tax compliance and consulting services to multinational clients on the tax implications of their international operations.
- A CPA or JD is required
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting. Masters in Tax is preferred
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant Tax experience in international tax compliance and/or consulting
- Prior experience with some or all of the following international tax planning areas: Outbound transactions and Subpart F, Inbound Transactions, Check the Box, Tax Treaty Issues, Repatriation, Foreign Tax Credit Planning, Global Cash Utilization and Accounting for Income Taxes and transfer pricing
- Proven success in a leadership role managing high level clients
- Strong communication, presentation, project management, and business development skills
- Strong self-motivation with the ability to work in a dynamic, time-sensitive environment with varying deliverables and changing requirements
- The successful candidate must be willing and able to travel, when necessary
- Recent public accounting experience preferred
- Work with current and prospective multinational clients to develop international tax structures
- Participate in brainstorming and other technical sessions intended to understand a client or prospective client’s international tax position
- Research and prepare materials for projects related to tax planning considerations
- Keep current with tax practices and changes in the tax law having a direct impact on our current and prospective clients
- Market international tax services to existing and potential clients
- Provide and review written and oral advice to clients serving a range of industries
- Mentor and supervise tax professionals serving as Associates and Senior Associates
