Spend some time this Memorial Day remembering those who died serving our country and reading about how awful some people in your profession really are.

Seems like this asshat was the only one doing any bashing. The Stockport Magistrates Court heard the following on May 21:

Syed Ahmad, 51, grabbed Perveen Ahmad during an early morning argument after she emerged from her David Lloyd gym to find her Lexus car had been vandalised.

An incensed Ahmad dented a gym member’s car as he slammed his ex-wife’s head against the bodywork during the attack in Cheadle, Greater Manchester.

He was eventually pulled off of Mrs Ahmad, 51, by her boyfriend David Wallwork, who then pinned her former husband to the ground as he ‘thrashed about’.

Syed Ahmad

Syed told the court he was acting in self-defense, as his ex-wife had kicked him and snatched a phone out of his hand. He said he was trying to get his phone out of her bag and “I tried to push her away but there wasn’t a lot of space and her head hit the car. I protected myself. I have never raised my hand to a woman.”

But Syed Ahmad was found guilty of assault by beating and criminal damage. He will be sentenced at a later date.
